Financial Reports

Terre des hommes Italy manages the institutional and private funds it receives with shrewdness and transparency.
Its financial books are verified and audited, and every year the balance is made public through publication in a national newspaper in order to ensure transparency towards donors.
Operational costs in Italy and organisational costs incurred in for the running of projects overseas never exceed 20% of the budget, therefore falling within the limits established in the Sodalitas Donation Charter that TdH Italy subscribes to.
Terre des hommes Italy requires the same financial transparency from its overseas partners, thus ensuring its independence from any form of pressure or influence on behalf of political, religious or other power, in Europe as well as in the countries we work in.
Terre des hommes Italy’s experience and reliability are supported by:

  • the preparation of detailed and regularly audited balance sheets;
  • transparency towards donors about results achieved;
  • its membership in recognised organisations at national and international level;
  • practised engagement in activities that have been documented for more than five years.
